#Boracay

Last October, I was able to go to Boracay. And I'm just gonna share some of my photos.

This is the view from my seat when we were going to Boracay.

This the view of the Boracay Island. I now believe why tourists are going back to the Philippines just to visit this island. A very beautiful place to visit.

This is one of the activities that we have done. Parasailing. It is a bit scary but you will forget about it if you already see the view of the whole island.

This is the view form my seat when we were going home. City lights!

Baguio Adventures!

A collection of my photos during my visit at Baguio City, the Summer Capital of the Philippines. A place where you wanna experience the cold weather all year round.

This photo was taken at Philippine Military Academy. This is one of the places we visited as a side trip after a seminar which we administered last 2014.

This photo was taken at the Wright Park. This is more than 80 steps which will let your knees die. You need a lit a balut if you wanna climb here.

For the thrill seekers and for those who love haunted stuff. Visit the Laperal White House which was said to be one of the most haunted houses in Baguio City. The house was already renovated into a semi-modern way. You will just be amazed with the beauty of the place. But if someone told you about the history of the place, you might creep out. Beware!

This photo was taken at The Mansion. You can be able to view the beauty it after the "stairway to heaven". There is always a rainbow after the rain.

This photo was taken at Olives and Lemons Greek Taverna. If you wanna try Greek dishes, you must try this restaurant. Aside from its good food, the ambiance is so good that every part of the resto is so picturesque.

This delicious pasta was taken at Mario's Restaurant. If you wanna try this pasta, go and visit the place. It is just near the SM Mall and taxi drivers knew this place so you will not have a hard time to go.

There a lit more places to visit at Baguio. I'm just getting ready for more adventures! Just wait for me, Baguio City!

An Environment and Children's Right Advocate

First job will never die. I am really happy that I found a job in which I can express myself freely, have fun but at the same time helping the environment and children. I am proud to say that I became a brand ambassador of World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). I was with them a short time but the memories will last forever.

Photos of our team. TEAM MORE!

Viva Pit Senyor!

Last January, my co-workers who were also my former classmates decided to go on a trip. And our destination? The Queen City of the South, Cebu! There are just limited photos taken because we were more into water activities. Here are two photos from our trip.

We were lucky because accidentally, we have purchased a ticket during their festival, the Sinulog! It was very fun. People are so hospitable and very welcoming. Another thing, their food are very delicious. A place you must visit!

This photo was taken at Fort San Pedro which was used as a barracks and viewing ground for the soldiers during the World War. I can therefore conclude that it is not only the food that is rich, the culture also.

If I were given a chance to go back here, I will grab the chance. One of the best places in the Philippines. So hopefully, I can be able to feel the warm welcome by the Cebuanos again.

Sample Shots

Photography is one of my passion. Though I can still say that I am amateur, I am trying my best to take a good photo. And here are some of it.

This photo was taken at Tarlac State Univeristy Hotel during my stay on one of the seminars that I had attended regarding journalism. This shot was taken by Nikon D3100.

This photo was taken at our school. This was the flower of my friend who celebrated her birthday on the same day this photo was taken. She received a gift from her parents and it was a camera. She let me use it and this is one of my sample shots. This photo was taken with the use of Nikon D5100.

This photo was taken at Citywalk Tarlac which is just at the back of our school. It was Christmas then and their fountain area was surrounded by these parols. Just tried taking photo and here how it looks. This photo was also taken by Nikon D3100.

For now, I haven't been into photography again. But I hope I can get back into my passion soon. tips for beginners? Just click and click and click.

Hello, Palawan!

This trip is very sentimental to me because this is my very first plane ride. I am with my former workmates who are now my friends. Our trip was last September 2015. Here are some highlights from our road trip to Palawan!

This is the view from my seat going to Palawan. This photo was also picked to be featured as one of the Seat View Photos of Cebu Pacific that will be posted on their Facebook page.

These photos were taken during our first day there. The itinerary for the day is to go to the one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Underground River.

This photo was taken before we went home for our first day tour. This is the Karst Mountain which is one of the pit stop from one of the seasons of Amazing Race Asia.

These photos were taken during the 2nd day of our stay. We went island hopping in some of the famous islands in Palawan which are Luli Island or also known as Lulubog-Lilitaw Island, Turtle Island, Starfish Island and the Isla Pandan where we took our lunch before going home. Our way home was a bit scary because it was after the rain so the waves are a bit strong. But luckily, we survived! The last photo was also featured at the Instagram page of Biyahe ni Drew with our official hashtag #FallenStarsPalawanRT.

Because of this trip, I was addicted with travelling. After this, we haven't unable to have our next road trip yet. But we are already on the planning stage for our next trip. So, see you Fallen Stars!

10 Things I Like in BSU

1.      Environment

Having the cold weather and nice place of Benguet attracts most of the people. Like whoever visits here, I am really into the environment. This one of the reasons why I chose Benguet State University to help me hone my intellect. A place wherein you can relax at the same time learn about new things. This is a place wherein stress has no place. Who says that learning cannot be combined with fun? Well, not BSU. Learning a lot of things at the same time enjoying and having fun with the place.

2.      Online/Open University

Only few universities in the Philippines offer an online university. Most of online universities are at Manila which are too stressful and too tiring to visit. With Benguet State University offering an online university is a very great help for those people who does not want to go to Manila like me. Besides, BSU-OU also caters highly-intellectual professors which help us to learn more about the course that we are taking up.

3.      BSU Welcome Marker

The first time I visited the BSU, the first thing that caught my attention was the welcome marker. It is too big and too catchy for everyone to see and to feel welcome every time you see it. The design is minimal but still catches the eye of those who visits the university. It is also good for picture taking so we did not waste the chance to have a photo with it.

4.      Dormitory/Hostel

The university also offers a dormitory or a hostel wherein students who are really far away from the school can stay for the night. With these dormitories, it will be very convenient for the students to avoid being late. Other universities does not offer place where you can stay so BSU also thinks about their students’ welfare.

5.      Professors

Being one of the top performing universities of the Philippines, BSU must also provide highly-recognized and globally competitive professors who will hone the students to become the best that they will be. With the help of them, they set as role models for the students and students will strive harder to be like one of their teachers or even be on their level. BSU never fails to provide the best quality education for the students.

6.      Whole Campus

BSU has the biggest and the longest campus that I ever saw. It is too big for all of the courses that it offers only stays at one campus and it is too long that you will be gasping for your breath when you try to walk from end to end of the campus. It will be a good form of exercise for those who wants to walk it several times. Just make sure you don’t have asthma. Maybe they should try putting BSU Ikot for the convenience of the students and other visitors. It’s just a suggestion.

7.      Quality Education

Benguet State University is known for providing quality education for its students so I chose to study here. Well, their professors beyond provide is the quality education that we, students, really deserve. All the activities and teaching techniques that they use enhances the mental and intellectual skills of the students. It makes the BSU one of the best universities of the Philippines.

8.      Staffs

The first thing that you will notice when you visit a certain place is the service. If the staffs provide you all the necessary information that you need and if they answer all your queries properly. You can find it all at BSU. The whole staff is really accommodating and very welcoming. Form the guards, office clerks, teachers and even the directors and other high officials answer your question respectfully whenever you ask them.

9.      Fast Service

Whenever we encounter some problems, the clerks are there to provide us the fastest service that they can give. I can still remember the assistance that they give us when we were enrolling. I was the last person to enroll and I was supposed to be on the other section with other set of classmates who has different course than me. But with the help of the clerk, I was able to enroll to the original section that I should be. Another one was when I was not listed as an official student at one of my subjects. I was not able to call them immediately but when I had the time to talk to them, they just confirmed that it was already settled and I do not need to worry anymore. Their fast service makes the lives of the students stress-free and worry-free.

10.  Online Website

One of the most convenient way that students can get information with the university whenever they are away is with is website. The BSU website is always up-to-date and always provide the students pertinent information that they need. The contact numbers were also updated so you can be able to reach them anytime during working hours. With the help of their website, you will still get updated even if you are not at school.
